Unbelievable letter .This is why I still do what I do. Don’t know I deserve it, but this helps dealing with challenging past couple of years

Dr. Rosan- I know that you are going through a difficult time & I truly cannot imagine the pain of losing a child, or the rejection that you have endured both before and after your daughters death.

So, I wanted to take a moment to encourage you & remind you that there are people in this world that you have made all the difference to. 11 yrs. ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer I came to you in tears not knowing how or where to begin. Surgeons, cancer centers, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists…it was like learning a new language & my life depended on me learning it immediately!

I didn’t know what direction to go in. You told me not to worry that you were going to tell me exactly what to do & where I should go, first. You made a call and got me in, where I needed to begin. You were honestly my hero. I’ve never forgotten how in that one visit you gave me strength to put one foot in front of the other. I could never thank you enough for being that kind of doctor and that kind of person

Fyi-I am still cancer free.

There are other moments, pivotal times, that you made a difference in my life, like when I was finally diagnosed with ADD after years of suffering without knowing, and being diagnosed with depression (it’s no wonder why). Your caring and understanding helped me to not feel ashamed or weak. I could never say it enough, but thank you, ever so much for all you’ve done for me and my family. I pray for God’s blessings on you for all the ways that you have blessed me (& so many others, I’m sure
Joanne S.
